Emily was introduced to yoga by her mom 20+ years ago. Too shy to attend studio classes, she started practicing along with DVDs (ha!) and later YouTube videos. After a weekend yoga retreat in May 2018 brought her out of her yoga isolation, she began practicing regularly at Crossroads Yoga in Corpus Christi, Texas, and most recently at Kula Yoga in Merritt Island, Florida. Inspired by her teachers, she embarked on her 200 RYT journey, completing her training in November 2021. Emily is also a musician and loves to bring funky & fun music to her alignment-based flows, along with some humor, and a yoga prop or two! Emily believes yoga is for everybody. She strives to make her classes inclusive, as well as challenging. Emily has been honored to learn the healing practice of yoga from a variety of wonderful teachers, including Gretchen Weber, Cassie Camp, Tanya Davis, Jessica Radican, and Laura Aiken. Emily lives in Cocoa, Florida, with her husband and their rescue pup, Bella.
Michelle Spahn started her yoga journey in 2001 in her home town of Denver, Colorado. Noel started practicing the physical asanas of yoga in 2015 and began to dive deeper into all eight limbs and her spiritual practice about five years ago. Through her journey, she has been able to use yoga as a tool to heal herself and to try to live each day with love and gratitude. Her calling to obtain her 200 hour certification was to give back and help others in the same ways her teachers have led and helped her. Her classes are a good balance between body, spirit, and mind, centered around the idea that movement is happiness. Her favorite poses are primarily the ones which incorporate balance and flexibility. In addition to yoga, she is a ballet teacher for children and a certified barre teacher. She is so honored for the opportunity to be even a small part of your journey.
